Little Keys is operated by MindSync Technologies Pty Ltd, ABN 39 696 882 318, ACN 696 882 318. Business contact address: Suite 19, 220 Carr Place, Leederville WA 6007, Australia. For customer support, email admin@thelittlekeys.com. This offer is for families in Australia and the United States.
The new Little Keys Family plan costs US$14.99 per month for two children, plus US$5 per month per extra child, up to eight children in total at US$44.99 per month. These US-dollar base prices include applicable tax. The plan renews monthly until cancelled. Checkout may offer a local-currency equivalent and shows the final currency, total, child allowance, billing period and renewal information before payment.
The current course contains twenty flexible visits, eight introductory skills and nine starter steps with their released songs. Completing the activities or taking a break does not stop renewal. Free Starter supports two children and does not automatically convert into a paid subscription.
We do not cancel or pause a paid subscription because it is inactive. Renewal continues even if nobody practises. The paying family owner must cancel renewal if they no longer want the subscription. The inactive-free-account deletion process does not apply while paid access continues; inactivity alone does not start its clock or remove subscribed families' saved learning progress.
The three free introductory activities can be tried without signing in. Registered free family accounts provide free learning access for up to two children. Profiles and progress retained from an earlier paid allowance remain subject to the retention and deletion policy; keeping those records does not provide access above the applicable allowance. Under the new monthly offer, paid learner places are assigned to specific children. Genuine permanent replacements are allowed within the existing paid allowance without an extra-child charge for the replacement itself; repeated rotation to share one place is not allowed. A replacement keeps the children’s records separate and identifies the access change and effective time. The previous profile is archived as read-only history, with viewing, export and deletion available. A returning child needs explicit re-enrolment into an available paid place or genuine replacement; a charge is due only for a separately confirmed increase in the paid allowance. Stopping practice or deleting a profile does not, by itself, request cancellation or approve a different child's access.
There is no new annual purchase option. Existing annual subscriptions keep their agreed annual price, billing period and four-child allowance. This policy does not migrate them to the new monthly offer, reduce that allowance or approve additional charges. Existing customers' accepted terms continue to matter; ordinary cancellation of an annual subscription ends renewal and normally preserves access until the end of its paid annual period.
Extra children and changes to your allowance
An immediate increase requires the paying family owner's explicit confirmation of the priced change. Before confirmation, we show any prorated amount for the remainder of the current billing period, the currency and total due now, the new recurring amount and the next renewal date. Added capacity starts only after the required payment successfully settles. A pending or failed payment does not activate extra paid capacity, and adding or selecting a profile alone does not approve a charge.
A reduction takes effect at the next renewal at the lower displayed recurring price. The existing allowance continues for the already paid period. An ordinary reduction does not create a voluntary refund or credit for that period. Reducing the allowance does not delete any child's saved progress, although paid access is limited to the reduced allowance. The account must explain the affected profiles before the change is confirmed.
You may cancel renewal of an individual extra-child place and keep the base family plan. That extra charge and access end at the confirmed renewal boundary. The base price still includes two places even if only one is used. Permanently replacing the child assigned to a place must not silently reverse an already scheduled cancellation of that place.
An existing subscriber who needs fresh payment-linked parent verification can use their next ordinary renewal after submitting the notices and permission request. We do not require a duplicate subscription or extra payment solely for verification. Covered cloud saving waits for the matching payment and permission checks; contact support if this affects paid access.
These rules do not limit a remedy for a billing error, an unapproved charge, a service failure, or a right under law or the applicable payment-merchant policy.
Cancel at any time
The paying family owner can cancel renewal through Parent account → Plan & billing → Manage billing. Cancel before the next payment is due, then keep the confirmation. If you cannot use the portal, send a clear cancellation request to admin@thelittlekeys.com before that payment is due. We use the time the request reaches us when assessing a charge that should have been stopped; our handling time does not make a timely request late. The support and billing inbox is monitored daily.
There is no cancellation fee. For ordinary monthly cancellation, paid access and the chosen child allowance continue until the end of the paid monthly period, after which the two-child Free Starter option remains available. Cancelling renewal does not itself delete learning history, including profiles above the free allowance. Records remain subject to the separate privacy, consent, deletion and inactivity processes; cancellation does not promise indefinite storage.
A refund request and a family deletion request are separate from ordinary cancellation. Signing out, stopping practice or using fewer child profiles does not cancel renewal. The family deletion process must stop billing before removing the relevant learning records; if it is shown as pending, contact us for help confirming the billing and deletion status. Deleting an invited caregiver's adult account removes that adult's access and does not itself cancel the family owner's subscription. An owner must transfer ownership or complete family deletion before deleting their own adult account.
Change of mind and unused time
We do not provide additional voluntary refunds or credits for a change of mind, unused time, finishing the activities, stopping practice, or cancelling or reducing child capacity partway through a paid period. Subject to the exceptions below, this applies to the first monthly payment, correctly processed renewals and explicitly approved prorated additions. Try the free starter steps and check the course description and final price before purchasing.
This preference does not apply where you are entitled to a remedy under law, where a payment was taken in error or without the required approval, or where the applicable payment-merchant policy provides a refund or the merchant decides to issue one under its terms. Using some or all of the course does not, by itself, remove a statutory right to a remedy for a problem with the service.
Problems with the service
Australian Consumer Law rights cannot be removed by this policy. A serious service failure can entitle you to cancel and receive a refund for the affected service, or retain the service with an appropriate reduction in price. For a lesser problem, we will remedy it without charge within a reasonable time; further remedies may apply if we do not. Compensation for reasonably foreseeable loss may also be available. The appropriate remedy depends on the circumstances.
We will assess the actual problem. The change-of-mind rule does not impose a deadline on statutory claims. A stated equipment requirement is not a blanket reason to refuse a claim if our description or compatibility information was inaccurate. Applicable United States federal and state consumer rights, including rights concerning unauthorised or misleading billing, are preserved. This policy does not replace or narrow any mandatory remedy available where you live.
Billing mistakes and cancellation problems
Contact us if you believe a payment is duplicated, incorrect, unauthorised, taken without the required priced extra-child confirmation, or taken after a cancellation or scheduled reduction that should have stopped or reduced it. We will investigate the relevant quote, approval, payment and cancellation records and arrange the appropriate correction. Do not send passwords, sign-in links, security codes or full card details.
If a service cancellation forms part of the remedy, we will also stop future renewal and confirm when access ends. A refund transaction alone does not automatically cancel an ongoing subscription. We will explain the effect on your subscription rather than assuming that refund and cancellation are interchangeable.
How to request a remedy
Email admin@thelittlekeys.com with:
- The adult account email.
- The date and amount of the payment, plus a receipt or other reasonable proof of purchase.
- A short description of the problem and the remedy you are requesting.
- Whether you also want future renewal cancelled.
You do not need to include a child's full name, a recording of your child or unnecessary financial information. We may ask for relevant technical details or reasonable verification so we can investigate and protect the account. We will respond and assess the request within a reasonable time, explain our decision, and give you an update if further investigation is needed.
When a refund is due, it will normally go back to the original payment method unless another method is agreed or required. We will not force you to accept store credit in place of a refund to which you are entitled. Processing and bank posting times vary; we will provide the available confirmation.
Payments sold through Link
Where checkout identifies Link as the merchant of record, you may also use the transaction-support route on your receipt or Link support. The merchant and applicable payment terms are identified in checkout and transaction documents; Little Keys remains your contact for the learning service and product support.
The applicable Link refund policy takes priority where our voluntary policy is more restrictive. Its current process covers eligible requests made within sixty days for problems such as non-delivery, a significantly misdescribed or unfit product, corruption, or an unauthorised or duplicate payment. Link assesses eligibility and may request relevant evidence. Link/Stripe may also issue refunds under its merchant terms. This does not create an unconditional sixty-day money-back offer, and the merchant's process does not shorten any deadline or remove a right under mandatory law.
You can still contact us for Little Keys support. We will help coordinate a resolution where needed and respond to the merchant's requests through the monitored billing inbox. You are not required to give up a statutory claim or first complete an internal escalation to contact an external consumer agency or pursue an available legal remedy.
Taking a complaint further
If you disagree with our response, ask us to review it and explain why. You may contact your state or territory consumer protection agency or seek a remedy in a court or tribunal. Nothing in this policy requires you to waive those options.
